Roti Prata ...

Roti Prata, a type of crispy dough often dipped with curry sauces or sometimes with sugar comes in various ways - plain, egg, onion or even cheese.

This popular Indian bread is popular in this region, Singapore and Malaysia. A little oily and fluffy, a good prata is soft yet crispy. With its additional fillings, it can be a filling meal just by taking two pieces of it.

Found in many Indian restaurants or coffee shops, it differs slightly from the North Indian naan, rather similar but not exactly. Good pratas can be found at Causarina Road's Prata Shop. The pratas there are crispy but if you prefer those really fluffy ones, you may try those at Jalan Kayu.

I prefer if served with fish assam curry then the normal one, and no plain ones for me but onion with egg prata. Try it, its delicious.

Attached is a clip on how prata is made. Looks easy? No way.
